Why Mammograms Matter
Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer among women—second only to skin cancer. Mammograms are essential for early detection, using x-ray imaging to help identify changes in breast tissue before symptoms appear.
Most women should begin getting annual mammograms at age 40.
